Maps

Within the dropdown for this tab are maps for Stewardship Groups and the entire Sonoma Valley.

From the Stewardship Groups map, you will see stream stewardships that have formed along Sonoma Creek in Kenwood, Glen Ellen and the Maxwell Farms Regional Park in Sonoma. There are also groups along Fryer and Nathanson Creeks in Sonoma.

Want to get involved or find out more information about an already formed group? Then click the Stream Stewards tab or the links within the maps page to learn what each group does and how to contact the stewardship leader.

Do you live near or want to start a new stewardship along a different creek? There are many creeks in the valley that would love to have some TLC and the occasional cleanup and planting of native species. If you are interested in getting more information, contact Julie Jehly, Watershed Stewardship Coordinator and Website Editor at the Sonoma Ecology Center, 707-996-0712 x115.

This site will also provide links to maps from other organizations. Check out this link from the State Conservation and Development Commission/San Francisco Bay which shows a map scenario for projected sea level rise, including Sonoma Valley.

Maps will continue to be added to this page, so check back!
